CATARACTS
are formed from cross-linking, a process whereby glycated proteins bind with other proteins and form large insoluble amounts of damaged protein that can accumulate in and disrupt the natural arrangement of the lens crystallin fibres.
Apart from surgery, there’s an therapeutic eye drops for cataracts which helps in 65% of cases. By using ColloRx® Lanosterol eye drops, the additional of collagen added to the lanosterol, help to stabilize the lanosterol and act as a lubricant to soothe discomfort from dry eye or corneal irritation. It also aids to coat the cornea evenly and increase the contact time of lanosterol with the cornea.
This maximizes absorption and lead to less wastage during application.
