The avian circuit is a non-rebreathing circuit designed for small patients where dead air space is an issue.
The control valve allows you to close the manual ventilation and then reopen for spontaneous breathing. Waste gas is evacuated from the circuit by an evacuation hose with a 19 mm fitting.
